It depends of your budget.
You generally have 3 different types of paying for metasearch ads.
First, you can use fixed bids per click. You pay a fixed amount each time a traveller is clicking on your ad.
Second, you can pay per click based on a percentage of the total amount of the stay. For example, imagine you are charging $100/night and your potential guest is searching for 2 nights stay. If they are clicking on your metasearch and your bid is 1% then you will pay 1% of $200 or $2 for this click.
