Project Overview
Sinopac Group supplies precision industrial parts and services to other businesses. Their previous WordPress site looked fine, but almost every page was hard coded. The team could not add or change content without a developer. Like most of our clients, Sinopac Group wanted to be able update content, change photos and more on their website. That’s why we make websites which are easy for clients to update.
We rebuilt the site in WordPress using Bricks Builder. We added custom post types for repeatable content patterns, so pages with the same structure could be created in minutes. Clear fields let the client drop in their own photos and copy, and starter layouts made new pages quick to launch. After short, focused training sessions, the team was confident and publishing on their own.
If you want a flexible WordPress website that you can manage without a developer, Olive & Lake can help you plan, design, and launch it.
Design Approach
As a B2B industrial brand, credibility and clarity came first. We framed their bright, bold branding with a clean grid, strong type, and high contrast accents. Product and process photography takes centre stage, showing how parts are made and used.
Navigation focuses on what buyers need most: products, use cases, and contact. Content blocks highlight certifications, product details, and manufacturing steps. The layout remains lightweight and responsive, so it loads fast and reads well on any device.

Challenges & Solutions
The largest issue was a locked down theme that hid everything behind custom templates. WordPress should not feel like that. It seems odd to us that somebody would take such an open system like WordPress only to lock it down so the client can’t use it.
We replaced rigid templates with a component library in Bricks Builder. Custom fields drive content, so editors change text and images without touching design. For pages that repeat, such as cases and products, we set up custom post types with dynamic templates to keep style consistent and publishing simple.
We streamlined performance too. Images were compressed, scripts were reduced, and caching was configured. Redirects preserved existing links, so search visibility was maintained during launch.

Key Features
- Fast loading pages with optimised images and caching
- Dynamic content via custom post types and custom fields
- Bricks Builder component library with reusable sections and starter layouts
Results
The new site is fast, flexible, and maintainable. The client can add pages, write posts, and update galleries without calling a developer. Content now matches the pace of the business, and their work is presented with clarity and impact.
Reflections and Takeaway
WordPress is open by design, yet some developers make the unusual decision to lock clients out with heavy custom code. We put safeguards in place so clients can’t break everything, but at the end of the day, when you buy a website from Olive & Lake, you own it. If you want full admin access, you can have it. Usually, however, clients are happy with a lower level of access which allows them to do everything they want without the possibility of breaking everything and let our team take care of the rest with our maintenance plan.
Locking down WordPress is an approach creates friction and cost for every small change. We take the opposite route. We design a system, not a cage, so your team can publish with confidence while the brand stays consistent.
If you want a site your team can truly own, speak to Olive & Lake. We can audit your current setup and map a clear path to a faster, easier WordPress build.
