Design Approach
The design is calm and image-led, letting food, markets, and street scenes do the talking. Navigation is simple: Tours, Destinations, Our Story, FAQs, and Contact. Tour cards highlight price per person, pickup details, and a short hook so guests grasp the value at a glance.
Tour detail pages focus on itinerary highlights and what is included, with clear calls to action to book a tour. Review badges and awards appear near primary CTAs to build trust. The layout is fully responsive and keeps performance tight on mobile devices.

Challenges & Solutions
It was important to list tours by cities providing a landing page for each location where tours are offered. To achieve this, we structured the tours with custom taxonomies for destinations, alloing users to easily browse and filter tours by destination.
As the client has 1000s of 5-star reviews, it was important to highlight these to build trust and social proof. We used a plugin which pulls in both Google and TripAdvisor reviews so the reviews are always fresh and updated.
Urban Forage has a unique offering in Cambodia, so it was important that the content reflected this. Short and consistent copy keeps the voice warm, knowledgeable, and local.
To further build trust, it’s important that the booking process is clear and transparent. Booking, payment, and cancellation policies are linked from every tour page. A compact policy summary sits near CTAs, with full details one click away. This sets expectations and lowers support questions.
For bookings, the client was already familiar with WooCommerce, so we opted for a WooCommerce booking integration to select dates and times for each tour.
Finally, guests need to find Urban Forage when searching for food tours in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or Battambang. We optimised images, used clean URL structures, correct schema markup and other on-page and technical SEO optimisations to strengthen discovery and search visibility.
